Really sorry!

Those who make memes are here to help those who are new to making memes.

We were ALL new to it at one time.

Please take constructive criticism as being constructive (I still ask for it frequently).

We have resources to help you.

All that matters is the output.

And always remember- you can make hundreds and it's just that ONE, that you didn't think was all that great - that goes VIRAL.

Keep trying, you never know!

So for those who don't want to hover over and go back a thread, here's the quick recap:

  1. Impact font

black with white outline, white with black outline, helps the text "pop" no matter what the background

  1. Outline of text (or whatever) is called "stroke"

  2. FREE graphics programs for you to use

Inkscape (vector + raster - text/vector drawing images and also photos + your text)

Gimp (raster -images- and also text)

Any questions, ask. Feedback is good even if slightly brutal. You're in the sausage factory, but whatever survives will be golden.

You may make hundreds of memes and the one you don't think is good at all will go viral. You never know, keep at it.

You never know who saves your memes/graphics. You may be totally shocked to find what has been posted all over zuckerbook by old ladies. Who cares as long as it woke people up, right?

We all started somewhere, we all sucked at the beginning and we all still make some that suck and are ridiculous but awesome at the same time.

Meme magic is real.

THANK YOU for your service and efforts. It is so amazing and awesome how so many have stepped up to create redundant backups, in all different styles, for anons and normalfags alike to access the information.

Big respect, and have a Merry Christmas

I have been meaning to ask you - should we refrain from putting memes in the library thread if they've been posted in the General?

I hear ya, I just wanted to ask so it doesn't make more work for you. Sometimes I upload mine into that folder and they're duplicated later. Just trying to save you time & effort.

I truly consider you a tight unit member, what we've been through and still kicking!

NOTHING CAN STOP WHAT'S COMING!

especially with us around, kek

I'm here a lot, so if you need a hand, just let me know, copy pasta is easy and I'm more than willing to help.

I happened upon a site that shows wealthy people's houses for sale. I was sucked in for days, on the one hand jealous (and pissed they have so many windows - don't they know sunlight degrades books!?!?!?!? on the other knowing I have 10k books of my own in a much smaller format).

I joke about my 'porn folders' - I've got one for amazing ceilings, too. I had no idea what was out there until I saw it.

And, ahem, not one person has noticed the stuffed llama in the back of the first pic.

>Oh, hai, I have a stuffed llama in my library

Who the fuck has that? Seriously?

OTOH I drive by a house that has a King Kong statue in their yard that dresses it up for Christmas (complete with spot lighting of course), so I guess it's all a matter of taste.

I've got a older of incredible ceilings, too. I don't know what happened with this post (leftover on the clipboard I guess) but nonetheless. >>7605971

Beautiful libraries for me are like the hardware store (even big box) - almost overwhelmed by all the possibilities. In the case of libraries, it is the shoulders giant thinkers, artists and the like, in hardware stores, it's the possibilities of what you can build or improve. Both the same but in different realms.
