Will Pope resign in 2020? Would fulfill 900-year-old doomsday prophecy…”The Malachy Prophecy”

Francis's "father" if from ROME not Argentina.

They moved to that festering hole when he was groomed.

"In 1139, Malachy went to Rome from Ireland to give an account of his affairs, when he reportedly received a strange vision about the future, including the names of 112 future Popes.

His prediction concerning the 111th pope, Pope Benedict XVI, was “Gloria Olivae,” which means “the glory of the Olive”.

The Order of Saint Benedict is also known as the Olivetans, which many claim makes Malachy’s prophecies correct.

However, his prediction for the 112th and current pope, Francis, is far more chilling.

It reads: “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End.”

The father of the current pope was Pietro, or Peter, and was from Italy even though the family moved to Argentina.

However, Mr Ivereigh said that the Pope is not concerning himself with the length of his term.

He added: “He knows he is in the hands of God and so none of this is predictable.

You can look at it two ways, I mean politically you could say it is quite clever because he’s also signalling to those people who do want to see a change in the church, that there isn’t much time.

“He’s putting salt on the tail of everyone saying ‘we need to get this done,’ so I think you can take (his plan) both ways.

“Some of his opponents are waiting for him to go and they will be encouraged by this.

“At the age of 79, we are talking here about him stepping down in his Eighties, in the year 2020, there aren’t many men, frankly, who are capable physically, let alone mentally, of leading a massive institution with all the demands that the papacy brings.”

However, the prophecy has come under fire over the years.

It was first published by Benedictine monk Arnold de Wyon in 1595, attributing the claims to Malachy, but given the very accurate description of popes up to around 1590 and lack of accuracy for the popes that follow, historians generally conclude that the alleged prophecy is a fabrication written shortly before publication.

One theory to explain the prophecy’s creation put forward by 17th-century French priest Louis Moreri, is that it was spread by Cardinal Girolamo Simoncelli in support of his own bid to become pope during the 1590 conclave to replace Urban VII.

In the prophecy, the pope following Urban VII is given the description “Ex antiquate Urbis” or ”from the old city”, and Simoncelli was from Orvieto, which in Latin is Urbevetanum, old city.

Mr Moreri and others proposed the prophecy was created in an unsuccessful attempt to demonstrate that Simoncelli was destined to be pope."

1000's MOAR!!

Bring the Pain.

VATICAN CITY (AP) — The Vatican office responsible for processing clergy sex abuse complaints has seen a record 1,000 cases reported from around the world this year, including from countries it had not heard from before — suggesting that the worst may be yet to come in a crisis that has plagued the Roman Catholic Church.

Nearly two decades after the Vatican assumed responsibility for reviewing all cases of abuse, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is today overwhelmed, struggling with a skeleton staff that hasn’t grown at pace to meet the four-fold increase in the number of cases arriving in 2019 compared to a decade ago.

“I know cloning is against Catholic teaching, but if I could actually clone my officials and have them work three shifts a day or work seven days a week,” they might make the necessary headway, said Monsignor John Kennedy, the head of the congregation’s discipline section, which processes the cases.

“We’re effectively seeing a tsunami of cases at the moment, particularly from countries where we never heard from (before),” Kennedy said, referring to allegations of abuse that occurred for the most part years or decades ago. Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Italy and Poland have joined the U.S. among the countries with the most cases arriving at the congregation, known as the CDF.

Kennedy spoke to The Associated Press and allowed an AP photographer and video journalists into the CDF’s inner chambers – the first time in the tribunal’s history that visual news media have been given access. Even the Vatican’s most secretive institution now feels the need to show some transparency as the church hierarchy seeks to rebuild trust with rank-and-file Catholics who have grown disillusioned with decades of clergy abuse and cover-up.

Pope Francis took a step toward showing greater transparency with his decision this week to abolish the so-called “pontifical secret” that governs the processing of abuse cases to increase cooperation with civil law enforcement.

But the CDF’s struggles remain, and are emblematic of the overall dysfunction of the church’s in-house legal system, which relies on bishops and religious superiors, some with no legal experience or qualified canon lawyers on staff, to investigate allegations of sexual abuse that even the most seasoned criminal prosecutors have difficulty parsing. The system itself is built on an inherent conflict of interest, with a bishop asked to weigh the claim of an unknown alleged victim against the word of a priest who he considers a spiritual son.

Despite promises of “zero tolerance” and accountability, the adoption of new laws and the creation of expert commissions, the Vatican finds itself still struggling to reckon with the problem of predator priests – a scourge that first erupted publicly in Ireland and Australia in the 1990s, the U.S. in 2002, parts of Europe beginning in 2010 and Latin America last year.

Not [This] time.

No pass by Da Oh Jooz.

Meanwhile, the lawsuit against the Pontiff and the Vatican is not a new attempt to have the larger Catholic Church held responsible for the years of sexual abuse by priests. Just this year alone, to date 26 separate cases have been reported by The New York Times involving individual Dioceses.

But one case similar to the today’s class action was filed in 2005 against the Vatican and then Pope Benedict XVI. The Justice Department told Federal District Court in Houston to dismiss a lawsuit accusing Pope Benedict of conspiring to cover up the sexual molestation because the pontiff has immunity as head of state of the Vatican City State. A similar 1994 lawsuit against Pope John Paul II, also filed in Texas, was dismissed

The costs of these legal cases have been mounting for the Catholic Church. A report from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops released earlier this year stated that between June 2017 and June 2018 the Catholic Church in the United States spent a staggering $301.6 million on costs related to clergy sexual abuse. Settlements totaled $194 million and attorney fees tallied $30 million.

The 74-page document also noted a 132 percent increase in allegations and a 133 percent increase in victims reported over the previous 12 months.

the critical importance of this case being that the Holy See is the body that administers the operations of the Catholic Church through the Roman Curia which is the central government of the Catholic Church, and is a direct attack upon its sole leader and administrator Pope Francis—an attack attempted in 1994 when a similar clergy sex abuse case targeted the Holy See of Pope John Paul II, but the US Department of Justice stopped when a US Federal Court ruled in its favor that “permitting this action to proceed against the Pope would be incompatible with the United States' foreign policy interests”—and attempted again in 2005 when the Holy See of Pope Benedict XVI was targeted by yet another clergy sex abuse case, which again saw a US Federal Court throwing this case out after the US Department of Justice said that “allowing this lawsuit to proceed would be incompatible with the United States foreign policy interests”—but now sees President Donald Trump having sent a few weeks ago both US Attorney William Barr and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Rome where they informed the Vatican no such protection will be afforded them this time—as Trump will not place himself in danger of being accused that he is aiding pedophile Catholic clergy—and comes against a Pope Francis whom Trump reviles after this Catholic leader earlier this year called Trump’s border wall cruel and compared it to the Berlin wall—which Pope Francis followed by further slamming nationalist leaders like Trump trying to protect their citizens with the shameful words: “I am concerned because we hear speeches that resemble those of Hitler in 1934…Us first…We … We …These are frightening thoughts”—a gross distortion of history made by Pope Francis that was followed by devout Catholic believers raiding his Vatican residence to remove and throw into the Tiber River his graven images of five wooden statues of a naked pregnant woman—an affront to every Christian belief and precept of no one being allowed to posses graven images of other gods—but which was even more shockingly met with the revelation that Pope Francis had authorized a $4.5 million expenditure in February of this year to pay for the production of a movie named Rocketman that celebrated and graphically depicted the homosexual and drug culture life of British music legend Elton John—all of which has led to the daily French general-interest Roman Catholic newspaper La Croix to declare: “The resignation of Pope Francis…the question is not 'if' he will resign, but 'when' he will actually do so”—which yesterday was met with the gravest warning of all saying that the resignation of Pope Francis “will fulfill the end of the world 900-year-old doomsday prophecy” of his being the last Catholic Pope to ever reign on Earth.

In MHO Flynn could no "speak" the truth when questioned because of his security clearance.

If he spoke he was guilty of divulging secrets, if he was silent he was guilty.
