The position is, within limits, to do whatever the President tells them to do. There's no need, especially for foreign policy related positions, for other countries to know who is occupying which actual roles and which personalities are influential. They can rely on Trump being influential, and that's enough.

Yeah I think Rizvi Traverse is the strongest candidate. Q told us it's important. RT had some tie to al Waleed as I recall, who is also somehow tied to MZ.

I think he follows orders. He followed W's orders. He'll follow Trump's orders. That can be very useful.

 

Nikki Haley was terrible as governor of SC, but as UN Ambassador she's followed Trump's orders consistently. And so she's done a great job.
