I was walking downtown the other day next to the FBI building in my town. Alongside it's flag there was a Red Flag with a Gray Castle on it.
This year in Indiana the harvest came late;
They say on corn "knee high by July" and you're fine.
It wasnt.
The farmers were fine though they didnt bitch and they certainly didnt stop farming. It takes a keen eye to understand weather, rotation, and planting, harvesting.

Wonder if markers also refer to knowledge of past event and then proven in the future… A marker such as a watch or number as a statement of knowledge (I see what you did) and then using that same date to strike back in the future.
If corresponding to day (watch) than April 19 (SHOT heard around the world) has another meaning as the marker.
