Finding the Knights’ “Hidden City”?

One of these reservoirs was reported to have been discovered just under the paving stones of Palace Square in the center of Valetta in 2009. Near the bottom of this reservoir there is an opening in a wall which leads to a tunnel. This tunnel then connects to channels, some of which lead towards the palace.

Malta, Shrouded in Megalithic Mystery

That some ancient Maltese temples are aligned to the equinoxes and have internal markers for the solstices (and even a calendar stone) is no longer disputed. But much else about the temples—and about much of Maltese prehistory—remains puzzling, raising more questions and vehemently heated debates than answers. For example: Was Malta really first settled 7,000 years ago by farmers from Sicily? The same first settlers who, without apparent prior experience, 1,000 years later began to erect enormous megalithic temples? And why did they build so many? Surveys indicate some 66 megalithic temples existed on the relatively small islands of Malta and Gozo. Some archaeologists state that the underground Hal Saflieni Hypogeum , which resembles an above-ground temple complete with central sanctuary, was a huge multi-layer cemetery into which some 7,000 (decomposing) bodies were deposited. But was it?

Based on ‘obese’ statues and the interior layout of the temples, some people believe Malta was the site of a powerful Mother Goddess cult. But are the large-bottomed, kilted statues (often headless) actually female, and are the temples proof of a Goddess cult?

Numerous limestone plateaus are covered with networks of enigmatic cart-ruts that run parallel, overlap, do ‘U-turns’, and even run down cliffs and under the water. How old are they and what were they used for?

If any of you happened to be watching “euronews” just three days before Pope Benedict XVI announced his resignation, you might have seen a long procession of men wearing black cloaks with white Maltese crosses slowly moving into the St. Peter’s Basilica for a meeting with the pope. These were today’s Knights of Malta, officially the Order of Malta, the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta. The occasion was the 900th anniversary of the presentation of the Papal decree in 1113, which gave the order official status, although it was founded 60 years before that.

Off to the “Impregnable Fortress” in Malta

mmediately after casting his vote and writing the majority opinion on ObamaCare, John Roberts told the Washington, D.C. press corps that, to escape the furor and controversy that erupted, he was heading to an “impregnable fortress to escape.” Roberts choice of words was carefully coded with secret and embedded meaning.

That impregnable fortress, as it turns out, was to the Mediterranean island of Malta, the unofficial citadel of the papacy’s Knights of Malta. It was to Malta where, after their stunning defeat in Jerusalem, the Knights and crusaders had retreated to what they referred to as their “impregnable fortress.”

Malta and the New World Order

It was on this same geographic island location where, in 1989, President George H. W. Bush and Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev had met on ships in the harbor and forged the “New World Order.” While the two leaders conferred on-ship, Gorby’s wife, Raisa, dressed in a symbolic, Communist red-colored dress, was taken on a pilgrimage to the Knights of Malta’s historic St. John’s Chapel, where a statue of Jesus’ mother, Mary, holds forth as the chosen icon. It sits on the exact spot where there were found ancient ruins of a great temple devoted to Goddess worship.

At Malta, U.S. Judge Roberts was met by the top potentates of the Rome-headquartered Knights of Malta, including Grand Master Matthew Festig of Great Britain. Also on hand to congratulate Justice Roberts on his monumental socialist “achievement” was Herman Van Rompuy of Belgium, a Bilderberg leader who is currently the President of the European Council.
