Anon -

We talked last night.

If there will be a ton of text (<7 words), start with a blank that's at least 1200 pixels wide.

Use a high resolution font, not a pixellated crappy font.

If you pick a blank that has essentially a dark or black background, white text does NOT need outlining, despite what SSA said :-)

Your pic 3 has a spelling error foment

Here are some blanks (DDG image search!) to put your own text on

You can also use remove.bg to remove background, put in a dark or solid color layer behind the cutout image, and put your text in an area that makes it more readable.

Pic 3, I did an example of readable text on a background. No "stroke" (black outline) is needed to make it readable. The font is a popular font for memes, Impact.

Pic 4, a whole lot of small text on a plain background. Is it readable?

Does it really need stroke outline?

Picked a narrow font in order to fit the excessive text.

P.S. my two memes are samples of how to use a graphics program, not actual memes.

Exactly. There's no one formula for creating a readable meme.

If the text doesn't look good, try different wording, different font, different placement, different color, different line breaks, different size, etc. etc. etc.
