Seconded. There are exceptions, but when I looked a while ago it was typical that if the ellipses were different length, then the Tweets were not Tweeted as a thread and there was a time delta. But if the number was the same, typically three or four, then they were Tweeted as a thread with no time delta. Someone replied to me a while back saying it was a book cipher for Art Of The Deal and noted that paperback and hard-cover have different page numbers.
