Mid wash sounds like the vent is clogged for the drain pipe.
Not in the machine. The drain pipe where the hose goes has a plumbing vent that should go up and out the roof. I had mine get clogged by bird nest a few years back. Water fugging everywhere. There's a little bladder thing goes on the end of garden hose that goes down the vent and blows the crud out. In Winter, plumbing vent stuffed with snow does same thing as bird nest
Next time you're outside look at the roof above where the washer sits. There will be a plumbing vent. Drains get vents, toilets get vents. I'm hoping it's a loose hose or something can be fixed while indoors. I was just outside for a smoke and uggggh.
On the upnote it's one uppity washing machine versus a digital army
