real life

mom gave me a liberal shirt for x-mas

an earth with a peace sign

is this not ultra-political in these times?

she tried to dress me in it for family dinner

my maga beliefs are well known

the question:

1.) give the shirt back and be a bit rude

2.) put it in my closet and never wear it

3.) explain nicely to the under educated liberal that the shirt isn't about the earth, it is about the democratic party…?

I didn't think much about it, other than ugh, until I woke up this morning. I can't determine if the gift was super rude, or just normal lack of understanding how political the shirt is..

It could mean that. Pretty sure I don't want anything to do with people who wear peace sign shirts though. It has a dirty connotation to me. It does say "Leave it Better than You Found It" on it, which I find to be instructive. I don't like when my clothes tell people what to do.
