The scales fell off my eyes one fine day 45 years ago, when I witnessed a pro choice individual becoming angry when she saw a group of people protesting outside an abortion clinic. She began angrily & superciliously mocking them by chanting, "Right to life, right to life!" I saw them, normal people with good hearts, protesting what they knew to be wrong, and I saw her, the light of humanity vanished from her eyes, and at that moment realized who I was.
