Bingo. If the conversation is in an area of expertise, I'll engage. But even then I'll only rarely top 10 posts because thinking before making a post takes time. Anybody who is posting more than 2% of the bread (~15) is shit-posting or shilling. The antique (last night) bread I am replying to already closed, there are 183 UIDs. Spread out evenly, there would be a shade over 4 posts each but 3-4 posters hogged almost half of the bread.
Most breads I am in at all I post, at most, 5 times and that is only because I've already studied the topic.
I'm only posting now because this topic is a frequent one. If someone is shit-posting, I check their post count. If they haven't said anything worth reading yet, it's unlikely their next posts are going to improve that record. If they are in double digits before half-loaf and want to avoid filtering, their words need to be prose for the ages. Otherwise ...
