Gnosticism does not have the same meaning now it had earlier in history thanks to revisionist history.

Same as most languages that aren't spoken today that have been translated don't always have the exact meaning/understanding interpreted.

Those in power (at the top of the 'church') define for those that refuse or don't have the capacity to contemplate for them selves. Labeling those that do engage in thinking for themselves as heretics or risk losing control.

Gnosticism was a label redefined to divide such as in today calling someone a racist & bigot.

Humankind is antichirst… That is why it takes becoming a new creation (birth) to enter in the Kingdom.

This phase in the Creator's plan leads to the next phase (what ever that may be).

Jesus wasn't hear to establish an earthly kingdom.

I seems plausible to me that ancient gods were ways at which to explain mans journey from the expulsion from the garden up unto the flood. These stories passed on from generation to generation becoming more embellished and altered ultimately to use as control.

In the Ugaritic texts, discovered in the late 1920's, was interpreted as a mythological story of mankind's creation. But maybe it was a way for them (Ugarits) to pass on an understanding of events and history as stories…

Per the texts there was a Creator God that created a pantheon of 70 gods… Where else does this story occur? (IMO) It aligns with the tower of Babel story… All of man was headed WEST (which implies coming from the east).

(skipping to my point) There was confounding of the common language into 70 nations.

Could it be possible that this was an event that every nation carried with them? Also, if they were building the tower as a top down approach to governing man from a spiritual place, wouldn't it also be possible they would all try and recreate the 'tower'; therefore explaining why there are so many pyramids with so much similarity around the world?
