Canadian TV lops President Trump's 10-second cameo from 'Home Alone 2'

President Trump has been cut in Canada.
Canadian viewers are being spared the 10-second cameo by Trump in “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has confirmed.
The cameo was axed to make room for commercials in the sequel to the iconic classic starring Macaulay Culkin as a child whose parents go away on vacation, forgetting their son.
In 1992’s “Home Alone 2,” Culkin’s character boards the wrong plane and ends up in New York City instead of Florida, his family’s destination. Trump directs Culkin’s character to a pay phone in the Plaza Hotel, which the not-yet-president owned at the time.
Cutting the commander-in-chief did not escape the eyes of the ever-vigilant internet, however. A slew of tweets, pro and con, swirled throughout social media as viewers reacted.
