Seems "they" are memory holing the story about the "aircraft launching gear" ending up in Pakistan. Since only Boeing and Airbus make these we know it originated in the west, passed thru five ports and ended up being documented as "empty" containers when they arrived in Pakistan.
Why are they deflecting by using the misleading term "aircraft launching gears" instead of what they are, catapult parts? Other parts of the story could bear a little scrutiny as well.
Who shipped them?
Who passed them thru 5 ports in as many countries without inspection?
Who chaperoned the paperwork thru the shuffle and edited it at some point to identify the containers with the cargo as "empty"?
Was this a busted smuggling operation?
Who were they really intended for? (Has to be for China as they're the only nation but us building aircraft carriers. (yfw you have to put a fucking ramp on your flagship accomplishment).)
Was this a "diplomatic" gift from "some nation" in a back channel to China for concessions elsewhere?
Was Pakistan cooperating/conspiring with China to funnel restricted military hardware for concessions in Kashmir?
