Being open to “God” starts with the humble recognition that there is value in knowledge which transcends your current understanding of reality.
In essence, “God” is all that for which you don’t know. Therefore, to declare that there is no “God” is to say that there is nothing beyond your grasp. It is to make yourself a “god”, but a blind one nonetheless.
