"Second-ranked Ohio State is making its ninth Fiesta Bowl appearance, the most by any team,
and third in the past five years. The 5-3 record at the Fiesta Bowl is the school's highest winning
percentage of any bowl it has played more than twice.
The Fiesta Bowl winner advances to the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday,
Jan. 13, 2020, in New Orleans. {nextPARTY}
Separately, the two teams that will face off in the 2019 Cheez-It Bowl on Dec. 27 at Chase Field
in downtown Phoenix were also named on Sunday.
The game will feature Air Force from the Mountain West Conference and Washington State
from the Pac-12.
Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. local time.
