when the publishers give a connected person a sweet book deal, everyone has known for years that it's a payout. But it's not illegal unless it involves some scheme to defraud in a way that syphons money from sources of funding.
when the publisher publishes these books, do they even print any of them? They must print some of them. And if you 'buy' the book, say, on Amazon, do you have an option to have it sent to a place where they shred and dispose of it?
One would need to look at the list of buyers for such a title. How many of these do they buy? I've often wondered by a store such as B&N still exists, and it occured to me one day it must be a clown-c-l-u-b of sorts. And they always have stacks of fresh books that no one reads.

A photograph of a bunch of boxes of a book being fed into a shredders would tell a story, a video a better story. Who works for the people who do this? Who can tell us the real story of these titles, from when they are printed, distributed, displayed, cut out, removed from display, and then shipped off for recycling or shreding? The life cycle of these crappy books written by insiders probably is the length of the depreciation cycle for tax purposes.
my understanding of power systems is that if you produce the company, in many states, is basically forced to buy the energy from you.
if one has a way to make AC 120, then a tactic to force disclosure and acceptance would be to just start forcing the power compnay to buy your excess power. It woudl seriously undermine their profit margins and lower the price of electricity.
also, under the new rules, it would void out the need for the wind turbines. also it should be providing you a 'carbon credit' because it woudl be a 'no carbon' way to produce.
