The underlying issue is lack of access to verifiable information. Most anons are too separated from these events to be able to discern fact from fiction. The new age of fake news has turned the internet into an unverifiable wasteland.

It's a chance for thinking people to recognize the fallacy behind building conclusions on unverified (which is to say – most) info.

You can build theories and conclusions on unverified info, but the mantra now is to accuse first and don't ask for forgiveness later. I don't like the age we are in. Most of us are virtual and no source – NONE – is first hand in that case. We're presented a reality over an internet feed that, as a civilian, is unverified.

I'm sure this is a huge problem that the IC faces these days. This is the post-Snowden era. Much info is in the public domain and the IC has to discern fact from fiction in this ridiculous sea of bullshit.

TBH sounds like a fucking nightmare. God bless those who can actually stay objective. I feel like the unbiased viewpoint exists on a knife edge these days..
