Video about Lewis Carroll and the book Alice in Wonderland. Came across this earlier while not even looking for it.
Beginning at 5:07:
"It captures, brilliantly, how a child responds to the world at a time when some of the categories that unfortunately we start to take for granted when we are a bit older are yet fluid so the barriers between dream and reality all of these remain porous in Alice and he grasps beautifully what the psychology of that situation is like." – Will Self
Lewis Carroll (real name: Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) insisted on the cover of the book be red instead of the standard dark green. He thought the red cover would interest and attract children to the book.
Lots of interesting correlations between what is mentioned in the video versus what we have learned here. Not necessarily direct correlations. More like a different way of understanding what we have learned.
