CozyBear and FancyBear are informal names for very real Russian cyberwarfare groups. And Russian intel groups really were poking around in the DNC. We wouldn't respect them if they didn't at lest try. However, they are being wrongly blamed (credited) with releasing the data to WikiLeaks.

The hack was real. But it was a red herring. It had nothing to do with the docs finding their way to WikiLeaks.
Russians snooping around in the DNCs servers and Seth Rich wanting to expose that Bernie was getting screwed over by the pro-Hillary faction are not mutually exclusive.
