There are horses in that drawing. Horses were not in the Americas until the Spanish let some loose in the 1500's. By Within a 100-200 years they were wild Pinto's and Mustangs on the plains that the natives used and adapted to.

 

This drawing is from the middle east, since the invention of the carriage and those giant's have turbans of some sort.
