I watched anons link to the movie SE7EN and started digging on locations. The scene in the pizza parlor was filmed at 6302 Hollywood Blvd which is on the corner of Hollywood and Vine. It was called New York Pizza express but has been torn down and now there is a parking lot. While searching the address I came across this doc from EVERGREEN Arborist consulting and it struck me how much info and power this company has regarding historic trees and root systems in CA. We know the DS doesn't really care about trees. It's just gives them control.
These people would have had to have been aware of the tunnel system under Hollywood and what better way to prevent digging than to "save" the protected tree?
This doc has a wealth of information about company's that owned property's in the area of the pizza place.
