If that insane bill gets a veto (which it most likely will) everything is in place for a shutdown and all the sparks that will fly when it happens.

I'm thinking that leading people on about signing it was done specifically so they wouldn't have time to draft a new one, thereby messing up the shutdown.
It's a joke to them. They swim in so much stolen money, they don't know what to do with half of it.

No … Chinese currency coming out Monday … DOW crash expected … gov shutdown looming … with that in place, declare martial law for a week or so (just a guess) whlie mass arrests occur … sign the bill, no shutdown, none of it happens.
What are people thinking when they get all high and mighty about how long they've been here? Are we all supposed to think they're superior somehow? Kneel when they post? Maybe they've been useless for longer than some others. What are we supposed to do what that information? Erect monuments to them? Send them money? Agree with everything they say? I'm not getting where the "WOW" factor comes in. More like "so what?"
You might feel differently if we sat you down in front of a computer and forced you to read through every subject covered by Wikipedia just so nobody would call you names for being a little smarter than that and skipping the stuff you didn't care about.
I think what actually happens is that people just aren't interested in certain subject matter. Doesn't mean they're offended by it. They just don't care. It takes a LOT of time to read through every post in here. People have jobs and kids and a lot of other stuff taking up their time. Not everybody has 25 hours a day to pour into this.
