If you are a human “being”, it is self evident. Being open to God starts with the humble recognition that there is value in knowledge that transcends your current understanding of existence. In essence, “God” represents all that for which you do not “know”. It’s really that simple.
Thus, to declare that there is no “god” is to say that there is nothing outside of what you already know. And by saying this, you make yourself a “god”, but a blind one none the less.
