If the provisions of the bill prevent shutdown, and if the bill does not become law this weekend, I believe the shutdown comes in Monday. (Sauce, various searches seem to indicate today is final day of previous bill).

POTUS can not pocket veto this one. Congress is not set to adjourn within 10 days. If the bill is sent to POTUS and if he does nothing, the bill becomes law 10 days from today. However, no action by POTUS would cause a shutdown on Monday until the bill becomes law.

Sauce on "Pocket Veto":

The veto becomes effective when the President fails to sign a bill after Congress has adjourned and is unable to override the veto. The authority of the pocket veto is derived from the Constitution's Article I, section 7, โ€œthe Congress by their adjournment prevent its return, in which case, it shall not be law.โ€
