Finland has had some Weinstein-like events too. Earlier the well-known director Lauri Törhönen was revealed for serial sexual harassment of female acting students. Just in the last few days another well-known director Aku Louhimies, known for directing dark and sordid stories about sex and violence, got into headlines after a long investigative expose of his "method directing", with plenty of named and unnamed sources. I heard there is at least one more director and two male actors that are looking to be exposed, but strong libel laws mean that names cannot be named until the proof is ready.

And right now there was on the news that yet another Finnish director, Arto Halonen, earlier known for documentary films, has made an internationally produced movie, with an international cast, spoken in English, about the "hypnosis murder" that happened in Denmark in 1951. It looks like only the Danish and Finnish versions of Wikipedia have anything about the event even though it was apparently huge in Denmark back in the day. The normally-expansive English Wikipedia doesn't have a single mention of the name "Palle Hardrup".

The movie opens in Finland next week and has been sold to many foreign countries. American distribution is being negotiated.

Looks like this could be the intended opening for the disclosure about MK Ultra.
