The family name "Trump" would have been pretty well known in Queens area of NYC. Fred Trump Sr. ran a rental house in the area and had been active in the Klondike gold rush area, thus probably having some interesting stories to tell. He was sort of laying low in the several years leading up to 1920, because he had German background and there was a lot of anti-German sentiment during WW I. This tells how his bio went:

From here you get sons who continue in Real Estate, but also John G Trump who becomes an MIT professor and key in development of X-ray machine tech. Was privvy to government tech development secrets as well. Serious science credentials for John G Trump.
Also a term in card games. Perhaps in the language of the artist the word "Trump" means something? Dellshau is of Prussian birth and emigrated to Texas. Made many aeronautical drawings and art. Believed in anti-gravity as projects like a thing called "NB Gas" which they believed would be able to counter the effects of gravity. It would give both lift and propulsive force to vehicles designed with it. He was in a club called "Sonora Aero Club" supposedly (info about Dellshau is sketchy). Basically some of this man's art was kept in University of St. Thomas in Houston and some student stumbled upon them, and brought attention to this man's art. A patron bought some and soon art enthusiasts and UFO enthusiasts began to be interested in Dellshau. Perhaps the word "Trump" means something in German?
It looks like German also uses "Trump" for the card game usage. Can't find any other obvious meaning.
Apparently Aero Trump was one of several purported designs of airships supposedly made in Gold Rush California. This article discusses Dellshau and his history as well as the club:

Dellshau claimed he was the illustrator and draftsman for this club which designed and flew these airships in the Gold Rush era of California (say 1850's). Only problem is that Dellshau immigration papers have him entering USA in 1853, then he can be located in Harris County in 1856 and Fort Bend County in 1860. Those are Texas locations. It's hard to see how this man could have been in California during the run up to the Civil War. Because of being a resident of the South being in Texas, he signed one of the typical declarations post-civil war (southerners had to sign certain declarations after the war). It's still sketchy but it looks like Dellshau was doing this art as speculative and fanciful art.
