>Shilly with a Chance of Pain
>What style of life makes one more adaptable to the spiritual journey,
I don't believe its one's lifestyle that determines their ability to expand the mind. I believe the root determining factor is one's personality. Our personality is a product of our programming which begins in the woom. Every input we receive once conscious illicits a chemical response in the brain programming our personality. If we are lucky enough to be exposed to the proper programming as a child (ie. truth, love, compassion, etc) it will eventually produce an adult personality that is compatible with higher plains of consciousness. Of course exposure to negative programming as a child (ie. hate, violence, abuse, etc) will have the opposite effect resulting in an adult personality that makes it far more difficult to see beyond installed firewalls as a result of your programming.
