FACT: The California Republican Party keeps track of its own registered voters AND DOES NOT DEPEND on the state government to do it for them. So do a couple of other parties like the Green party.
FACT: This whole issue is only about Primaries. So while it is entirely possible that the state records extra registered Dems, they can only vote if the Dems let them. My money is betting that the Dems will let anybody vote regardless of state records.
FACT: If pollsters use the state data to choose Dems that will answer the way they are told, guess what, we STILL won't believe the polls.
VoterID in the Federal election is a federal issue.
The DHS has been given the task of ensuring Election security.
