I had the same thought at first, back in early 2017, but.... later..... new unverifiable info happened. I stopped to think about it.
I understood rumor or Q post, cant remember, that Obama pardoned all of the main treasonous actors in some kind of secret pardon, last minute? (Panic in DC?)
A secret "off the record" pardon?
Anyone ever heard of that kind of thing?
Anyway, if true, (not a big if, but, most likely true or attempted) then, /our guys/ had to let them run criminal amok thinking they were still safe committing crimes, to capture post election crimes to prosecute?
If so, then "FISA works both ways" makes sense, and evidence is gathered, but, trials will be on crimes committed post 2016?
Unfortunately for them, there is law, and common sense that might prevail here?
The way the law works, it might be that a crime was "in progress" and they never stopped doing "X treason or other" so the pardon might not help them much if they did not stop doing whatever they were pardoned for?

Kind of wondering how or if a pardon works, if you do not stop the treasonous crime, or the seditious crime... or any criminal activity, after the pardon?

I mean, a President can pardon any criminal, but, can a President pardon a criminal as he is committing the crime ongoing?
If Obummer actually pardoned these people two thoughts amused me about it.
1) He would have to list their pardoned crimes on paper somewhere....lol. Yeah. Off the record pardon most likely impossible, which means any pardons he did for the cabal have to be "classified" amd aybe hidden in his presidential library stuff that created an issue back then.
Imagine those pardons getting out into the wild in writing. O-bummer.
2) And IF the criminals continue to commit those exact crimes, maybe it would have the force of nullifying the pardon?
Like... Hey... I know you wanted to pardon this murderer, but, it appears he is in the middle of a serial killer spree????
Will be interesting to see how this works out now that this "crime time" of bad actors has also been matched with a mad rate of "corrupt judge cleanup" and numerous appointments of "Original Intent" judges who read the constitution as written, along with Federalist papers, Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights for interpretation.

But with a twist.
Lets say those pardoned had a conspiracy to commit treason, and were pardoned for their activity up to Obama leaving office, when he lost power of pardon… BUT
Lets say said actors continued to carry out the "plan" and the plan could be proven in writing?
Would the fact that actions were taken post pardon to further the original pardoned crime, work to nullify the pardon, since we are not talking about double jeopardy here?
