OK Anon's, I think I may have figured out how the map should look AND how to use it.

HOW IT SHOULD LOOK:

Q's posts are the map, and he said that the map is circular.

Visualize a large circle painted on wall. Now place Q's first ever post right at the top of the circle. Moving to the right, now place Q's 2nd post right next to the first one at the top and continue on to the right with each post in chronological order as they appeared on 4/8chan, all the way around the circle.

Eventually, Q will make a final post. This post will be placed immediately to the left of the first ever post directly at the top of the circle, thus completing the map.

To aide in visualizing, think of the circle as a compass. The first post at the top of the circle is 360 degrees (north). The post that is directly across on the other side of the circle from the first post will be 180 degrees (south) from it. This is how all posts will relate to each other. Pick any post on the circle, then find its opposite post 180 degrees away on the other side of the circle.

The "why" of this will be explained shortly.

You could even just take a string, hold it on any post and the bisect the circle with the string and it will land on its opposite post on the other side of the circle.

This is the better way to find opposite posts as the compass example can only have 360 posts as there are only 360 degrees on a compass. We have no idea how many posts there will be until the final post from Q appears.

When complete, this is how the map will look.

HOW TO USE THE MAP:

We've recently discovered that the earlier post's Q has made have a correlation with recent posts. There is a definite relationship between posts.

That said, I believe when the map is complete, you can choose any post on the circle, then find its opposite post on the other side of the circle using the method described above, and there will be a direct relationship between those two posts.

And, just like using a regular map, the relationship between the posts will be the equivalent to a starting point and an end point.

"When is a map useful?"

When it can orient you to where you actually are, and then accurately guide you to where you are going.
