Yes–our purpose is to work until there's no work to do. And then fade away.

One reason why i already wondered why anons are always so eager to have someone 'ask the question.' IPOT said something like that as well–won't be what people think.

Whatever happens with confirmation, it will change the whole dynamic, and not in a way we can easily predict.

The thing with Duff-who knows what it's really about? This guess and that guess but nobody really knows.

This community has a lot of strengths but one of the weaknesses if an intolerance to live with uncertainty. It makes anons (some at least) push for answers sometimes when it would prolly be better just to wait and see. And get ready to respond to whatever shakes out.

yes there is a foundation now

many possibilities exist

 

anons in other parts of the world (Finland)

get together and meet

we don't (unless we know people already)

i think mostly for security reasons

that might change in the future

 

there are some things that could be done

if there were direct /comms/

(just think about how things were after sudden deplatforming–zero /comms/ for many of us)

got to now a few anons thru twitter

but that remains a compromise at this point

 

in the long run,

it's not necessary to be completely anon

necessary to behave as tho we are anon

(like cooperative equals)

doesn't have to be literal tho

 

different dynamic

but potentially powerful

will be interesting to see how things develop in the future
