Characteristics of a victim? Find person lacking strong sense of identity and lacking strong moral compass, who would value belonging to an elite group more than doing what is right.

Identify his moral weaknesses (often sexual) then feed those. Destabilize him and heighten his lusts (often via drugs or shocking experiences). Groom him with constant encouragement/reinforcement and groupthink. Pervert him even more over time, until he is 'one of the club' that has gone too far to ever go back.

At some point, victim must bury the shame/regret building up in his heart, by diving so far into the corruption that he embraces it completely and no longer has any conscience to nag him.

Ok, so it's all about power and being above other people. A constant struggle to prove who can make the other person do something degrading, proving who stands where in the hierarchy of power.

What is proof of subjugation? The acts that are also useful as blackmail potential.

What would it look like? Degrading/criminal/disgusting acts in presence of the other members.

If you are always looking for this, what will your behavior look like? Everyone else is either a potential conquest for you to dominate, or a potential aggressor that will dominate you - depending on your power level and leverage.
