Thread

On Iraq.

Look what @realDonaldTrump did. He goaded leftists into admitting that Benghazi was a disaster.

Guess who were the president and secretary of state when Benghazi happened?

mentions Of course there's no comparison between Baghdad and Benghazi.

In Benghazi, Obama refused to preempt an attack that he was told for weeks was coming.

In Baghdad, an Iran-backed militia stormed the embassy after we defended ourselves from their attacks.

mentions As for getting the Iraqis' permission to carry out the attacks, who were we supposed to ask?

The group we attacked–Kata'ib Hezbollah–are part of the Iraqi armed forces.

They've been attacking us for weeks.

mentions The reason Iraqis are protesting is that their country has been taken over by the Iranian mullahs.

Democrats are in love with the mullahs, so of course they oppose any action taken in defense against Iranian aggression.

Here's the new mantra:

mentions "Trump is taking us closer to a war!"

BUT!

They're also saying, "Why is Trump golfing?"

He's got them dancing like a monkey on a stick.

mentions Nobody knows what's going on behind the scenes.

But Trump–as always–provides strategic distraction by golfing and tweeting.

HIS ENEMIES NEVER LEARN.

We're in Iraq because they asked us to stay. We can leave whenever we want.

mentions On June 6, 2014, an entire Iraqi armored division of 30,000 men RAN FROM 850 Islamic State terrorists.

This was after we'd trained the Iraqis for eleven years.

The Iraqis not only ran, they left behind all their weapons.

Thus Iraq armed the Islamic State.

mentions There won't be a war with Iran.

We bombed an Iranian-backed militia that had attacked us multiple times and finally killed an American.

So OF COURSE Democrats blame Trump.

Remember the pullout of American troops from Syria?

mentions THE GREATEST BETRAYAL OF AN AMERICAN ALLY EVER!

So what happened?

The Kurds and Assad formalized an agreement, the Turks voluntarily stopped, and now the Syrian Kurds have a semi-autonomous region.

mentions I read the agreement that the Syrian government and the Kurds signed.

That thing took YEARS to negotiate.

Within 48 hours of the agreement being signed, the Syrian Arab Army was at the border with Turkey, planting the flag.

mentions TRUMP PREVENTED THREE NEW WARS.

One between the Turks and Kurds.

One between the Syrian government and the Kurds.

One between the Turks and the Syrian government.

mentions By using strategic deception, Trump solved three problems that seemed to have no solution.

And now Trump is heaping praise on Erdogan as Turkey works out a deal between Syria and Russia that will end the fighting in Idlib.

mentions Trump understands that everyone needs to save face.

And very occasionally, you drop the hammer, the way we did on the Russian at Deir Ezzor, Syria, on February 7, 2018.

We barely mentioned it, but it was the worst military defeat that the US ever inflicted on Russia.

mentions The strikes on Kata'ib Hezbollah in Iraq are part of a broader strategy.

Trump's enemies are too stupid to see anything except golfing and tweets.

But Trump got them to finally admit publicly that Benghazi was an Obama catastrophe.

Nice.

mentions This will be over in another 24 to 48 hours. It'll have no impact on our relationship with Iraq.

My guess is we killed most of the militia's Iranian leaders.

What's so amazing about this era is that everyone has to have everything spelled out.

mentions Nobody can wait, they have entirely unreasonable expectations, and they take everything at face value.

Who knew that in a period of the most advanced communications possible, people would become so uninformed that they may as well be living in the Dark Ages?

Agree on the favor.

There is a war going on, and very, VERY few people know who's even involved, much less what the war is about.

Frightening as hell really when you think about it.

Happy New Year! kek.
