Anons we need to push this, The Right declares 2020 the Year of Defeating the Resistance and the Left Once and For All
Left Declares 2020 ‘Year of the Resistance’ to Donald Trump, Boris Johnson
Left-wing activists declared 2020 the “year of the resistance,” vowing on New Year’s Eve to redouble their efforts to removing President Donald Trump from office and winning the 2020 presidential and congressional elections.
Scott Dworkin, a political consultant who founded the Democratic Coalition Against Trump super PAC, helped push the “Russia collusion” theory, and is trying to recruit Republicans to the cause of impeachment, tweeted his thanks to “The Resistance,” adding: “I look forward to working to remove Trump, winning back the White House and Senate, and holding the House in 2020.”
Not to be outdone, Jeremy Corbyn, who led his Labour Party to historic defeat in last month’s elections in the UK, declared in a New Year’s Eve message to supporters: “We are the resistance to [Prime Minister] Boris Johnson.”
Critics, including from his own Labour Party, mocked his address, in which he barely mentioned the election result.

NY Times tweet on 'Iraqi mourners' storming Baghdad embassy prompts backlash online
I wonder if there was an Austere Religious Scholar With the protestors in Iraq
Crowds of angry Iraqis protesting America's recent airstrikes against an Iran-backed militia laid siege to the U.S. Embassy compound, chanting "Down, down USA!" as they stormed through a main gate, prompting U.S. guards to fire tear gas in response.
However, the Times offered a more sympathetic description of the mob.
"Hundreds of Iraqi mourners tried to storm the United States Embassy in Baghdad, shouting 'Down, down USA!,' in response to deadly American airstrikes this week that killed 25 fighters," the paper tweeted with its report. As of Tuesday afternoon, the report itself made no mention of "mourners" at the compound, although it noted that Iraq's prime minister "announced an official three-day mourning period for the men killed in the strikes."
