Sometimes you have for forfeit a battle to win the war, especially when there are too many battles raging simultaneously. POTUS and the Q Team need to focus their attention, time and resources on The Storm. Having a battle over the spending bill right now will only delay the counter coup, which, please remember, is heavily dependent on the military, hence the need for additional military funding. I'm staying on the train, but would really like to see something very visible and tangible happen this weekend or early next week.
I have been here on the chans since late October and, yes, the tone has changed. But I think that is to be expected really. In the beginning I think we were all in awe that there appeared to be a sophisticated, well-developed counter coup in the making, involving people with the power and intelligence (both kinds) to make it a reality. Over time the "coincidences" mounted, providing confirmation that this was really happening. In January things began to change, though, with many delays and promises unfulfilled. I still believe and am onboard, but I can understand why some are turning away.
