Story Time

Future proves past. Even all the way back to 1774.

Virginia is in the process, today, of creating felons out of citizens that are exercising their constitutional rights. In doing so, numerous county governments have declared themselves as second Amendment sactuaries. While progressives have given shelter to illegal criminal aliens from authorities, they are now accusing officials of being "vigilanes" for seeking to protect their citizens from imprisonment for exercising their constitutional rights.

However, the idea of these sancutary cities is not new.

As a matter of fact, in 1774 in the colony of Virginia, the last royal governor seeked to disarm "disloyal" patriots, led by Patrick Henry. George Washington and Patrick Henry organized independent companies and formed the Fairfax Independed Militia Company. Pledging that each volunteer "will, each of us, constantly keep by us" a musket, six pounds of gunpowder, and 20 pounds of lead.

Parallel that to today's Senate Bill 16 which seeks to eliminate large capacity magazines.

Fast forward from 1774, to Lexington and Concord in 1775. We know the rest.

It started with Patriots creating militia and to protect themselves from the "destruction of our civil-rights, & liberty". It ended with the birth of America, the god damn greatest country ever in the history of all time.
