Do Iran/SA/Pakistan benefit from wars in Iraq/Pakistan/Syria? Regional destabilization can be short term bad, but is this allowing for expansion of power in the region for all three? Short term revenue from war and graft, long term power through the change in the regional balance of power?

Traditionally, from a cultural perspective, the Iranians, Saudis, and Pakistanis make very strange bedfellows (Sunni/Shi’a divide is major), but could they have enough incentive to take action to push down this path? How does the CIA fit into this? Build the coalition?
