President Trump expected to attend National Championship game in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS —

The U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to attend the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

Brian Trascher, an official with the Trump campaign in Louisiana, confirmed President Trump's expected visit Monday, Jan. 13.

Trascher said that members of the congressional delegation will join the President at the game.

The Clemson Tigers will take on the LSU Tigers at 7 p.m. in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Earlier this season President Trump attended the LSU vs. Alabama game in Tuscaloosa.
