Meat Loaf slams ‘brainwashed’ Greta Thunberg, says she was ‘forced’ into climate change belief

Musician Meat Loaf revealed in an interview that not only does he not believe in climate change, but he also said teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg has been “forced” into thinking the way she does.

Rocker Meat Loaf is making waves on social media for being one of the latest critics of teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg – and a blunt one at that.

“I feel for that Greta,” the 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light' singer told Daily Mail in a recent interview.

He added that he believes the 17-year-old Thunberg has been “brainwashed into thinking there is climate change.” The rocker said he does not believe in climate change.

“She hasn’t done anything wrong, but she’s been forced into thinking that what she is saying is true,” the 72-year-old musician said.

It should come with little to no surprise that Meat Loaf’s comments were like throwing a match into the kindling that is social media.

Some criticized the rock star for his criticism of Thunberg, who has also been targeted by US President Donald Trump, and for his apparent denial of global warming.

“It’s almost like Meat Loaf is praying for the end of time to hurry up and arrive,” comedian and actor John Fugelsang tweeted.

New Cambridge Analytica Documents Reveal 'Global Network' Of Voter Manipulation

Cambridge Analytica was a for-profit data mining and political consultation company based in the UK which used the extrapolation of user data as a means of creating targeted advertising and to promote political messaging to sway votes.

Tens of thousands of documents from the infamous and now inoperative data firm Cambridge Analytica (CA) reveal the shocking global reach of voter manipulation, reported the Guardian on Saturday.

Over 100,000 documents related to 68 countries will be revealed over the coming year, unveiling a worldwide network used to influence voter decisions on “an industrial scale”.

The documents, which began to be released on New Years Day on the anonymous Twitter account HindsightFiles, reportedly came from the emails of Brittany Kaiser, an ex-Cambridge Analytica employee who abandoned the company and is now a whistleblower.

Kaiser claims that CA's Facebook data scandal was a small part of a much larger global operation which functions alongside governments, intelligence agencies, commercial companies, and political campaigns to influence voter choices and public opinion.

Never before seen video shows aftermath of disastrous jihadist offensive in Idlib

BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:10 P.M.) – The jihadist rebels attempted to retake ground they lost to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) earlier this week, as their forces stormed several sites in the southeastern countryside of Idlib.

Led by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS), the jihadist rebels kicked off their counter-offensive by sending two suicide bombers towards the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses west of Al-Tah town.

The Syrian Army managed to foil these suicide attacks, which then led to the jihadist rebels storming their positions in a bid to overrun their defenses.

However, the jihadist attack would ultimately be repelled by the Syrian Army troops, as they managed to kill and wound several of the Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham militants and their allies from the Turkish-backed “Syrian National Army” (SNA).

Tens of citizens return from terrorists-infested areas in Aleppo countryside to their homes

Aleppo, SANA – Tens of citizens on Saturday returned from areas where terrorist groups are positioned in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province, crossing through al-Tayha corridor and heading to their towns and villages which have been liberated from terrorism by the Syrian Arab Army.

SANA’s reporter in Aleppo said that 90 persons arrived at al-Tayha corridor in Aleppo’s northeastern countryside, and the authorities sorted out their paperwork and resolved the legal status of a number of them, providing them with all the facilitations needed for them to resume their normal lives.

Drivers License Data Sold to Businesses, Given to Feds

As we start the year of the once-a-decade US Census, it’s an appropriate time to start looking at some of the ways and the purposes for which data — including drivers license data — is used and shared by the Bureau of the Census.

State agencies that issue drivers licenses want us not to object to their demands for more and more personal information about matters unrelated to driving — digital photos, scans of birth certificates and social security cards, etc. — in order to obtain drivers licenses that comply with the Federal REAL-ID Act.

State driver licensing agencies say we shouldn’t worry — notwithstanding the requirement of the REAL-ID Act that drivers’ license and state ID data be made available electronically to all other states — because this data will only be shared “as permitted by law”.

But what does that mean? What sharing of this data does the law permit?

Recent reports show that drivers license data can be, and is, widely shared with both commercial entities and federal agencies — including the Bureau of the Census, which will be conducting the decennial census in 2020 — for purposes unrelated to motor vehicle operation or drivers licenses. Both federal and state agencies say that all of this is permitted by the Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA).
