I contacted my local (fairly large) newspaper after they posted a Qanon hit piece that had the typical lies and slanders. I offered to do an op-ed in response, or even to give a reporter the chance to ask me any questions they wanted as long as either would keep me anonymous. I carefully explained that anonymity was because we are Ll equal, not out of fear. I told them that they could be the first media outlet to publish the truth about the movement right from an anon who had been there from the beginning.

They turned me down cold because they do not ever publish anonymous op-eds or interviews.

This is, of course, horseshit and I gave them examples of when they had indeed done that. I never heard back.

Just wanted to share. Has anyone else tried this?
