What ever happened to assimilating to the country that you immigrated to?
This makes sense. I am 3rd generation NW European immigrant and I only know a handful of words from my grandparents. But my grandparents never flew the flag of the country that they emigrated from or held any allegiance to it. They came here to stay and never looked back.
