He has got them by the balls. Give me what I want or you get nothing. He will spend the money as he sees fit. They will give him line item veto and that will start eliminating even more pork.
People have been taught to be consumers since the 50's. It just teaching people how to save and to become self sufficient. How many people know how to do anything outside of their job scope? I am fortunate enough that I can do most all things relative to maintenance and construction for myself. It's getting rid of the laws that do not allow people to do these things for themselves.
