other sources have reported the Iraqi parliament passed a [resolution] to expel US troops.
As far as I am aware a resolution is only symbolic and not actual law…
Sure there is a lawfag that can set me straight.
The resolution is intended to get those in control of the part of their gov to oust US troops (along with others from other countries supporting the mission.
