>state television has announced a crowdsourcing effort among citizens

<Our otherwise destitute citizens totally raised $80m all on their own for the sole purpose of posting a bounty on the head of the leader of the most powerful military in the world

Do they think people actually believe this?

>Why Tues?

On Monday the MSM will begin spouting the talking points for the week they have prepared. The trick is to let them stick their foot in their mouths with whatever narrative they're trying to start then absolutely fuck over that narrative the next day with some action that either directly contradicts it (i.e. Trump releasing the Ukraine call transcript), forces them to adopt a contrary position, or to abandon the planned narrative altogether.

Social acceptance is a hell of a motivator for most people. They will follow the path of least resistance in terms of accepting beliefs even if it directly contradicts physical reality (more than two genders, no biological distinction between sexes, etc.) because if they don't they stand to lose all of the emotional and mental support structures that keep them sane and healthy. They probably don't know exactly why they believe something like that, but DO they know if they don't believe it they will no longer have any friends or love in their lives. That's more than enough of the equation for most people, they just stop right there and follow the herd.
