AND - you are so right about making memes as opposed to engaging people in the twitterverse. Some can do both, which is great, but maybe not many very well? I don't know.
The inherent division of labor here is true, and when someone sees a need for something they step up and do it, unbidden, not ordered or commanded. Reminds me when anons took like 10 pages of a large document each and analyzed them and posted findings - all volunteer, no oversight and it got done fast and very well.
We organize ourselves, really inherently if you think about it. A lot of very high IQ people who by nature do things 'differently' which is why any attempt to impose structure or organization doesn't work (and it's been tried repeatedly).
