That whole speech was a breath of fresh air. As anon was saying toward the end of (pb), all those people in that room looked tired and forced. They spend careers shitting on decent values and profiting from it, and then look aghast when the spotlight shines on their club and its members.

 

Spiteful, hateful, insulated, virtue-signaling, privileged society of pretenders and fantasy weavers and narrative-creating puppets (with a few exceptions peppered throughout).

 

But as (pb) anon said, the brutally honest jokes are too little, too late. Thank God, Hollywood is dying and the people are increasingly ignoring "the stars".
