Trump threatens Iraq with ‘very big sanctions’ unless it pays BILLIONS back for an air base if US troops forced to withdraw
“We have a very extraordinarily expensive air base that’s there. It cost billions of dollars to build, long before my time. We’re not leaving unless they pay us back for it," Trump told reporters on board of the Air Force One on Sunday.
The punitive measures that the US is ready to slap on its supposed ally in the fight against the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) will be even harsher than the crippling sanctions already in effect against Tehran, the US leader said.
"If they do ask us to leave, if we don’t do it in a very friendly basis, we will charge them sanctions like they’ve never seen before ever. It’ll make Iranian sanctions look somewhat tame.”
Trump’s dire warning to Iraq comes after Iraqi MPs passed a non-binding resolution, championed by the country’s caretaker prime minister, and asking the Iraqi government to expel foreign troops by cancelling a request for military assistance from the US-led coalition.

Houthi forces fire several missiles towards Saudi Arabia
BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 A.M.) – The Houthi (Ansarallah) force fired several missiles towards the southern region of Saudi Arabia this evening.
According to the Yemen-based Al-Masirah TV, the Houthi forces fired at least three Earthquake missiles towards Saudi Arabia’s Asir province.
The report said the Houthi missiles targeted the Saudi military sites inside the Majazat Al-Sharqiyah area of the Asir province; they did not specify if the missiles hit their targets.
The Houthi Earthquake missiles have the ability to hit targets a little more than 250 kilometers away from their launching point.
This latest attack comes just days after the U.S. Armed Forces killed Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani, who was also a close ally of the Houthi forces.

Opposition to 5G is worldwide. Multiple lawsuits have already been filed about it in the U.S. (see 1, 2, 3, 4). Doctors, scientists, engineers and public advocates have asked President Trump for a moratorium on 5G. Expert warnings include more than biological and environmental risks (see 1, 2, 3, 4). People and animals have been getting sick where it’s been turned on (see 1, 2, 3, 4).
Telecom companies have admitted they have NO scientific evidence that 5G is safe. Regardless, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) continues to promote and force installation. That’s why tens of thousands of small cells have already been installed by T-Mobile and other telecoms (see 1, 2, 3, 4) and hundreds of thousands more are predicted to be (see 1, 2).

At approximately 9 pm eastern on October 2, ten conservative twitter accounts owned by ten different entities were suspended by Twitter. When the account owners contacted Twitter to get the details of what they supposedly did wrong and appeal the punishment, no reason was provided. Instead, the “bluebirds of punishment” sent them notices that they were permanently banned.

Freedom of information, speech and the press is firmly rooted in the structures of modern western democratic thought. With limited restrictions, every capitalist democracy has legal provisions protecting these rights. Even the UN Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the general assembly in 1948 declares "Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers" (although as Article 19, it comes after the right to hold property, be married and hold a nationality, among others). As such, western ethics heavily favor the nearly unfettered rights to speech, press and information. Such rights might be tailored to protect state security from a Lockesian social contract perspective, but a Kantian categorical outlook surely provides for a society in which everyone can speak freely is better to one in which no one can speak freely.
