>Because there is no answer.

A paradox, but far from the only one in the bible. So how do you respond those who suggest the paradox is the root of falsehood in Jewish-Christian thinking, point out the obvious parallels of the bible stories with the mystery religion's archetypes, and suggest the whole Judaeo Christian paradigm is a misunderstanding perpetrated by the misguided profane, at best, or traitors to the great work at worst.

I admire your dedication to the cause. Personally, it appears that both sides have played with the devil, and the closer you get to the historical Jesus the more he looks like a fulfillment of one line of mystery religion thinking, perverted after his death to the ends of men. Jesus was not a physical warrior nor given to lusting after women, so David being a man after his heart is hard to reconcile. The fruits of the both the mystery religions and Judaeo Christian thinking are soaked in blood, the pure natives of the intended good in both are almost identical, the only difference being free forgiveness of the Christians vs the balance of Anubis.

The old names of the God of the bible get really murky as you look into the origins of the Hebrew scriptures. I personally would be careful, for as you say the devil lies. If the the devil only lied, he would be easy to spot, but the truths of his narrative are what make him easy to mistake for the truth. Lucifer was second only to God, his adoration of his own power and beauty and subsequent fall from favor did not make him ugly to humans, and he remains the prince of this world. Seeing past him may be harder than you think. They don't call him the light bearer for no reason.
