What I'd really like to see before I croak is to see YOUNG couples able to set up housekeeping and start families on just the guy's salary.
Back in the day, people could actually do that.

Two parents working isn't exactly great even when the couple make enough money for the very "best", such as it might be, childcare.
Life is tough! Seems like common sense that it'd be optimal with one person working remotely, and the other person caring for the children and home. Both are so vitally important!
